Hey can anyone tell me the skills/ stats / equip i would need for a ZOO necro?

Well I happen to have just made on on ladder. He's pretty damn good, I'd say.

First his gear( He's level 71)
Shako (Ptopaz-tryig to get a clean oneand eth it)
Homonculus (195%, Trying to upgrade + Eth it)
Enigma Wyrmhide (Wooohooo!)
Heart of the Oak (Hoping to get a Beat sometime soon)
Trang Oul's Gloves
Trang Oul's Belt
20 Dex Ravenfrost
10 FCR + 63 Mana Rare Ring
+2 P/B + 28 STR + 39 Mana + 40 Light Res + PDR 75% Rare ammy
19/17 Marrowwalks

3 Summon Gc

Stats are somewhat like:
84 Str
28 Dex
XXX Vita (Up to about 270ish)
XX Ene (Putting points here fom now on so I can teleport alot)

Skills that I did:
20 Skeleton
20 Skeleton Mage
20 Skeleton Mastery
1 Revive
1 Summoned Resist
///
1 CE
X Bone Wall (Synergy for Bone Armor)

1 Amplify Damage

At my level, he has 12 Skellies, 12 Mages, and 13 Revives.

His Merc:
Level 56 Might Merc (Leveled up from 28- yae!)
8/7/20 Gaze
Shaftstop
Spire of Honor

u can always take a more ghetto approach if ur kind of poor -

wand with 3 to summon skills
circlet with 3 to summon skills
trang armor
xome type of necro shield with 3 to summon skills (yes i have one)
marrowalk
trang gloves
trang belt
ammy with 3 to summon skills
crummy rings

20 skele
20 skele mage
1 amp damage
10 or so into iron golem
10 to summon resist
and rest into revive

now if im counting correctly, thats +14 to summon skills which should give you 13 skeles, 13 mages, and quite a few revives, and with a hugh skele mastery like that, they should be doing in the 400 (800 with amp dmg) dmg. range with +65 to resists and about 800 life i do believe

mines level 87 and is good/hardly ever dies but people get pissed because they "lag" from all of the skeles

Trangs = BLOWS. TRANGS SUCKS.

I advise using Enigma on a summoner. It helps. Alot.

What about a pvp? i aws just pwned by a summon necro... i even used my foh pally and i nearly never lost... with my pally.. maybe a pvp summon necro guide? oh yea how can you tell ur mages dmg?

Summoners, in PvP, are going to be pwned by all casters (I mean Sorcs, Hammerdins, Elemental druids, Trapsins, and so on). They can easily destroy all your minions in a few seconds.

Yep. And when you try dueling barbs with over 2.5k life, it takes days to kill them. Even with Amp...
