First of all a rough check looks like your resists are going to be an immeadiate problem. Second, you didnt give quite enough information for us to answer your very broad question. I have seen great zealots and I have seen godly zealots. There is a future.Odysee said:are zealdins any good? i mean, wit this gear:
coh
stormlash
gore riders
2bk rings
highlords
zaka
verdungo's
steelrend
shako? eh?
are we talking pvm or pvp... i still havent figured that one out for sure...Odysee said:my question is, what's the key to an owning zealot, some say its crushing blow, other say it's the +% damage to [put evil monster here] on coh and like
I tend to assume when poor amounts of information are given. Bad habit I know but its tough to give help without a well described question. Also - I asked him what his thoughts on charms are - I dont see how that makes an ass out of me.Aqua-THF said:Your assuming his HoZ is not already Perf Dmnded. You also forget his amulet. Charms may have a lot of resists, elemental damage, and 3/20/20. Just saying, dont assume, makes a ass out of u and me.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you. Yeah Fury druids are awesome but I had an old .09 zealot build with no syns on either zeal or charge, runnin around with an etheral zoded bstar - and you'd be surprised how well he did with no syns on charge or zeal [killed good ele druids, good trappers, and actually did well against good bone necs as well - etc]eatbutt said:ok guys... Zeal Pally's are only good vs 2 types of characters in PvP... Novice Barbs or Other Zeal Pally's.
-They are slow (there charge isn't high enough to do any sort of damage unless maybe a crappy bow-zon)
-They dont do much damage (what, maybe 6-7k?)
-ANY kind of char can beat them! yes... any
My idea on a build for a zeal pally, Build a FURY S.S. Druid! They have tons more life, and can do the same amount of damage. Plus they have pets and once again ALOT MORE LIFE!
so i offered my PvP advice on it...Odysee said:mostly pvm, if he could do pvp it would be awsome
i agree with you there - when i had my old .09 charge/zealer runnin around in .10 and doing good damage, i had problems with about the same character classes. WW barbs will always be a problem with charge/zeal if they use the right ww techniques... If they keep the short ww going you cant really hit them often.DarkZero said:well u kno guys even tho i dont have a zealer i found that my charger/zealer is better especailly for PvP cuz of the high amount of damage he can deal in a single blow. True that charge's bug hasnt been fixed yet but hopefully blizz will get on top of that and soon chargers will be seen more often. There are only a few builds ive had trouble dueling those include summoning necros(which u dont see that often), some ele druids (only 1s with good equipment ), now ww barbs can be a problem (but not that big if u can successfully land a few zeal hits with some good poison dmg). But thats just my opinoin
well u kno that they take dmg even when there are ww but it only affects them after they stop ww.(ive noticed this cuz i have a ww barb and i only die[if i ever do] after i finish ww) :frustrateFWI said:i agree with you there - when i had my old .09 charge/zealer runnin around in .10 and doing good damage, i had problems with about the same character classes.
