how do i use xspoofer to spoof my name ?

xspoofer:
In the Channels, type in /s [NAME HERE] and you're now that person.
Exp: /s SCPLAYER
Now when you go in games, your name is SCPLAYER.
In the chat rooms, you are you.
I found that I get a temp IP/CD key whatever ban after I leave a game when I use it...
I am noob.
