Intro:
The ww sin is most of the most complex and amazing characters if used correctly. Sadly some sins do not know the correct way to create a ww sin and create some kind of weird combo ex. ww/beast/bow(trust me I have seen one, it made me sad) or kick/ww. The other ww sin guide on this forum inspired me to create this guide; especially “DO NOT USE ENIGMA OR I WILL CUT OFF YOUR FINGERS!!!†Well, he never cut my fingers off yet. I am not sure if he has ever made a ww sin because the strategy in the guide is too general. I wish to duel him if he has a ww sin.
Stats:
strut nothing in str because you will be using enigma, other wise, just put enough str to hold or glitch your gear
dex:just enough to hold your claws
vita:EVERYTHING
energy:none
Skills:
20 Weapon Block
20 Claw Mastery
20 Fade(who doesn't want higher resistance? Plus gives a hidden damage physical resistance, max physical res is 50)
20 Venom
1 Dragon Flight(theoretically your claw should have dragon flight)
1 Blade Shield(1 point wonder gives nice dmg from your weapon)
1 Mind Blast(1 point wonder stuns your opponent for a while and does dmg, nice to finish off guys after psn dmg puts them at 1)
1 Cloak of Shadows(nice for defence reduction on oppenents and defence bonus for you)
1 Shadow Master(for the diversion, also don't use this against people that use life tap, they will tap off your shadow)
Items:
Helm
Shako-its the mediocre helm, nice but not great
Attack Rating(ar) circlet/helm- These the best helms in my opinion for a ww sin. The ar mod is +%AR bonus based on character lvl ex.( ur lvl 85, so it gives +85%Ar).This mod isnt that great alone so other mods you should be looking for are plus to str, fcr, and res.
Armor
Enigma- This is the most debated part about a ww sin. I myself use eigma because it gives me str so I can put more of my points into vita. It also increases my run/walk, has damage reduction, and tele. The tele factor isnt that important but it is need to defeat a hammerdin because most of the time the dragon flight goes in the spray of hammers.
Bramble- This other debated armor is the one I used to use. It gives nice psn dmg bonus but that isnt all that great because it doesn't add a lot of psn damage. Thorns is nice against melee but not important. I would only use this armor if you had a high psn bonus one and if you are defiant against enigma.(plus you run slower because bramble gives no frw)
Weapons-
Chaos- well you obviously need this for ww but as a second claw I would not advise it. It gives nice bonus to str but a dual chaos does not give a lot off open wounds to drain the life of your oppenents down.
Fury- This is the best claw for a second claw because it gives nice open wounds working with chaos and an ar bonus! Not to mention the deadly strike.
Eth Zodded Jade Talons- Some sins use this against casters but I do not use it myself.
Note- When making claw runewords, you should put it in a suwayyah with mods needs like blade shield, dragon flight, mind blast, cloak of shadows, venom, shadow master, or enhanced damage.
Belt-
Verdungos- The bonus to vitality is insane boosting your life greatly(not to mention it multiplying with battle orders(BO)) The replenish life and damage reductions is also a must want. Dont forget faster hit recovery!
Arachnids- This si great if you want to use tele as your way of getting to your opponent. The 10% opponent slow is also very nice. Other wise, I wouldn't use it.
Gloves-
Trang's- It is nice for the bonus psn dmg and fcr.
Dracul's- It gives open wounds and life tap which is great. The str bonus is nice
Boots-
Goreriders- These boots are pretty nice because of the open ounds and deadly strike.
Shadow Dancer- These boots are not my favorite but some people use it. Gives nice dex bonus and and fhr.
Eth Stormtreks- These are definitely my favorite due to the fhr, plus to dex, plus to str, and faster run/walk. There is nothing better that you can ask for. I like them eth since they fix themselves and eth gives more def.
Amulet-
Maras- This amulet is ok due to the mods. The only thing you would probably use this for would be prebuffing or against casters.
Angelics- This combo with the ring will easily give you 1k ar bonus and 10 dex bonus. One of my favorites.
Armageddon Fletch- This is nice for the fcr, res bonus, and everything else nice about it! IT is used mainly for the people that use tele. Not my favorite because it is so EXPENSIVE.(east nonladder only)
Rings:
Angelics- Used with the angelic amulet.
Raven frost- It is very nice since it gives plus to dex, plus to ar, and cold sorb. I use it myself.
Rare Ring- Rare rings to look have ar bonus, fcr, and str or dex bonuses.
Charms
9xShadow Gcs, Anni, Torch, and 11x 3/20/20(plus 3 to max dmg, plus 20 to life, and plus 20 to ar small charms) If you can not afford 3/20/20’s, then use +20 life small charms.
Prebuffing Items and Techniques
Shako-plus 2 to skills
Maras-plus to skills
2xshadow claws with x/5 psn facets- good to cast venom, fade, and all of the other shadow skills you use
2xBul Kathos-each gives plus 1 to skills and life when you use BO
Demonlimb-The enchant on this items gives you a bonus of 200% ar!
You first want to put on your nice Call to Arms(cta) with lidless and use BO and Battle Command(BC). Then switch to your shadow claws and cast your shadow skills and everything else. You should be wearing all of your prebuff items mentioned before. Prebuffing is expensive and is optional but the shadow claws are not. They can be found at Anya in Hell mode.
Strategies
Note- all of these strategies require cloak of shadows before the fight
General strategies
Hook,Line,Sinker- This technique is the most common technique used. First, mindblast the enemy a couple of times; stunning them. Then dragon flight or tele next to them. Then, ww.
Always ww away since it makes the opponent come towards you and ww has a higher chance of dealing dmg. Watch out for barbs because their weapon range is sometimes longer; especially when they duel-wield.
Use mind blast before you and the opponent make contact.
Vs. Paladins
Ww away from chargers, zealers, and smiters
Use mindblast to prevent FoH from being cast and use the hook, line, sinker technique.
Mindblast hammerdins and tele south of them; avoiding the hammers.
Vs. Sorceresses
Mind blast them to stop them from teleing and them dragon flight or tele next to them to take them down. You may need to tele behind them to avoid fireballs, or lightning since(depending where you are) dragon flight puts you in the way of the projectiles.
Fighting against meteor sorcs is a little more challenging because it is all about timing. Dragon flight or tele after you mind blast and the most recent meteor falls.
Vs. Barbarians
You will lose most of the time against ww barbarians. Ww barbarians that double wield will be easier for you to kill since they have no block but they have longer range. Otherwise just ww away with the occasional mindblast.
Always ww away from concentration and frenzy barbs.
Vs. Necromancers
Always use BOS against bone spear/spirit necros because fade won’t help you.
Ww out of bone prison
Use the same strategy for tele necros as fast tele sorcs
Vs. Amazons
Use the hook, line, sinker strategy against bowazons because it is the easiest way to kill them.
Against charge/lightning fury zons, always ww away. Don’t ww in a straight line to avoid the lightning furies.
Vs. Druids
EZ Use the hook, line, sinker strategy on wind druids. The cloak of shadows will weaken his critters and ww will take care of the rest. Keep mindblasting him to prevent him from casting tornadoes.
Against melee druid just ww away.
Vs. Assassins
Run around and try to avoiding mindblasts first from a trapsin. Then use her own weapon against her and use the hook, line, sinker. Watch out for her traps!
Mirrormatch- Use the same tactic from the barbarian except know that a good ww sin will have the same abilities as you. Be prepared to be use mind blast often. This is my favorite fight because I get to test my own build against other ww sins.
Bowasin- This is just a personal joke with my friends and I.
It’s your choice
Dragon Flight and Teleport are much debated among ww sins. I am going to give you the goods and the bads and you are going to choose what is the best for you.
Dragon Flight(Goods)
You have a chance of casting firestorm from the Hellfire torch, which pretty much covers you up if you are using fade. This allows you to sort of “be invisible†and strike your opponents.
Does not require aim.
Deals a bit of dmg on contact.
Dragon Flight(Bads)
Dragon flight requires a bit of FRH for you to start moving again.
Does not allow where you are placed; you are just placed next to your opponent.
Teleport(Goods)
Allows you to place your self where ever you want.
Can be quicker then Dragon Flight with enough FCR
Teleport(bad)
You need to aim; which is very hard for me.
Requires FCR which sacrifices some needed ar or life ex.(dungos, angelics)
My WW sin:

3425-4109 Chaos
Attack Rating using Angelics and 250 Ravenfrost- 11154(too bad I only have 5 3/20/20’s)
