Ww Barb Noob Questions

Hey, im planning on making a WW barb, because I have all the gear. I have a few questions:

1) Does dexterity affect the hit:miss ratio of Whirlwind?

2) Since im using EBotdz and Beast as my main weapons, does investing in axe mastery increase the damage of whirlwind?

These are the gear im using for my Ww barb, please tell me if I need to make changes:

40/15 Arreats
1376 Defense Archon Nigma
Ebotdz
Beast Zerker
40/15 Dungos
31 Rends
Gore Riders
Angelic Rings and ammy

1) Yes ... but only put dex for gear..

2) yes ... Axe mastery increase dmg for all axe class weapons..

So I try to put minimal dexterity, just enough for my gear?

yes, minimum for your gear; you'll get quite a bit; a big +30 from your ebotdz... and since your dual weapon; you dont have to worry about block rates

keep in mind that you cant ww when in bear/wolf form; so i dont know how useful beast is

I use beast for fanatism, it gives more damage plus it increases my likelihood to hit. Is my other gear ok for my pvp ww barb? I read the strat guide and it tells to put like 220 some in dex so I got confused.
