Wtf is the point of trying to make the perfect char?

Well, alot has changed in 1.10 as you know. But what is the point in making a perfect pvp char?? What I mean is in 1.09 people knew and feared you because you could own or w/e. Now days, there is not a difference from that trapper or another trapper.

Everyone on Europe know my sorc in 1.09 and people talked. Now days a sorc is just another char. No one remembers you at all. You are just another bnetplayer. All chars are so simular that no one remembers their name or anything. It ****ing sucks. I'm seriously thinking about quitting d2.

Not true Heather. Those of us that play HCL USEast know that it isn't true, because look at Canadian Beef. If somebody is a pvper and doesn't know his name on HCL USEast then they just started being a pvper 2 minutes ago.

The reason nobody is talking about chars because in *cough*pussycore*cough* softcore ears mean nothing, a pvper doesn't mean shit because if you can kill somebody they can go pick up their body. In hardcore on the other hand, if you can kill 8 people level 80+ and live your name starts going throughout the circle the more ears you get the more popular you are, kill somebody on ladder and you are in instant fame you will prolly get a "good job" or "nice char Heather" in a few Baal games.

The problem isn't that the chars are the same, the problem is any pansy can go duel in softcore... it takes skill to be able to do it in hardcore and even more to do on hardcore ladder.

and in 1.09 it was the same, all sorcs wore the same pile of crap, other than maybe a bunch of crafted stuff but i think you can still craft in 1.10 , now cant you

im with korittke on this one. characters are all the same, always have been, and always will be. you cant have an original character. with maphack that lets people see your gear everyone who likes you copies you and soon everyone is like. so if that isnt the form of flatery you want then tough.

Long story short.... i was noob at first... got noobed 2 times... worked my way up... made a real good friend.. he stole my acount... and the other 3 were becaauuusee, in .09 i had "contacts
" i had a few friends that worked for websites... i could get n e thing i wanted... so of course i made all my chars uber gods.. and loaded invintorys with 290 charms : / not smart... i started tellin ppl when they asked how much psn damage i did... id say 12-13k... theyd b like wtf how??? 35 290s in inventory... ppl wanted my account.. so they took.. not sure how but they did lol O but my very last one was because of MH

You're right, you can't have an original char.

I think I know why people remember chars though. Back in 1.09 people remembered your char because of all the outragious bugs you had. Thats plainly it. Now days everyone has enigma and all that good stuff but in 09 people had a variety of items and such but now its just enigma and coh and hoto...... I know many people have complained about 1.10 and I'm not trying to make this thread into another one of those complaints but thats just wat it comes down to.

well 1.09 was different true people could copy your gear but stats meant a huge difference.

In 1.09 pally duels if you had a good pally then most pallys knew you.

But now in 1.1 duels are screwd up. Anu necro can kill anything. Ao i guess in 1.1 if you want to be known as a good pvp then you have to go to hc and start killling people.
