im in the process of making a zeal high def pally.

im thinking the skills should look like this

20sacrifice
20zeal
20holy shield
20fanat
20defiance
rest smite
this is correct right?

also im a little confused on wether i should go with poison charms/3 20's/ or offensive gc's. im also wondering y Pcombat chamrs wouldnd be a better deal as those would raise alot more of the skills?!?!

please only advise me if you really know wut you are talking about. no theories pls!!!

i have looked into the sticky for zealdin guide and with all my resipect to whom ever wrote it but a Potion throwing barb would do a better job in PvP.

E cara; angelics; dungos; coa (bered); gores/eth treks; ebotd z; P dracs; exile.

i guess E dc would work better if i went the non poison route. thnx for your input. nite

that depends... if you only plan on fighting melee them i would use smite over charge. but if you want a more "all-around" dueler then go with charge.

and to the sloth dood...did u read my post?! u obviouly didnt. this isnt a guide, i was asking a couple of questions about my pally that were NOT!!! in the stickied guide (which happens to be outdated) so yea...dont simply post just to be posting and get my thread closed. thnx tot he other people tho

What i meant was check the stickies, and if u ask us if its good. Its basically the same in stickies so its good. And Have 1/2 offensve gc and 1/2 combat skills gc.

after maxing out zeal, fanat, hs, sac, and def, u'll already have to be lvl96. rest in smite will get u 45% more enhanced dmg...woohoo. don't bother.

charms...any +max/+ar/+life charms will do. skillers don't add as much. it's been tested.

the only things there i wouldn't use is E cara and exile. the only thing good about E cara is its defense...that's it. hardly worth trying to get 220 str IMO. even if u can get that much str easily, there are better options. exile...i wouldn't go as far as to say it sucks, but i'd certainly go with stormshield or alma negra instead.

he did read the stickies, and he wasn't too impressed with the zealot guide there. i didn't like that guide either.

aside from the gear section (which is still missing a lot of things), that guide barely passes as a guide. it's more like a "this is what i do, now copy me" kinda thing. it's helpful only to those who are absolutely clueless about zealots.
