What type of Gamer are u? Solo player only?
Most people prefer gaming with friends, groups of people that they know and can trust....
But finding a good partner or group of players to constantly play together can be hard. For example, if u are used to playing with 1 of your friends, but u level up faster than him for some reason u migh never be able to play with him again because of the level diference.
Thats where guilds come in! Ritualistic Vengeance is a guild trying to be as ready as possible for the beta/retail version of WoW. The guild has approximatly 30 members right now. Our ultimate goal is around 80 member.
Why so small? Why so big?
Why so small: Well, being in a guild is not all about shear strenght. Its about friends, socializing, teamwork, opinions and having fun. With a 200 member clan, its pretty hard to get used to all the members, u cannot really build a 'relationship' with all of them.
Why so big then?: Of course, we could decide to be a small group of 30 members and all be great friends...But we ALSO like killing people, owning, destroying and being the best on Azeroth . So the whole 80 member idea is right in the middle. It will give u the possibility to meet every1 and play with most of the people.
Example of the usefulness of 80 members over 30 member:
Ok, its friday night, you are all set up for this pretty cool quest u found out but u will need help... Lets say u are a warrior...U spam your clanmates: HEY GUYS, I NEED HELP FOR THIS COOL QUEST, WOULD LIKE 1 WARRIOR, 1 ROGUE,1 MAGE AND 1 WARLOCK.
Out of 80 members, with the degree of activity most of the members have at this time on the forums, i would think ~55 members will be on at all times. Meaning finding your perfect 'squad' for the quest will be easy.
If we were only 30 members, with ~23 members on all time, it would be harder.
Another advantage to a mature guild is the ability create systems to remedy in-guild situations.
Examples: Looting system, Clan funding system (tax) and raiding.

Thank u for reading this, and i hope to see u in our forums or at least on the battlefield later on....
