well guys ive been thinking and whell we are on patch 1.11 WoW is on patch 1.13.1 or sumthing like that and it makes me mad bcuz like its only been out not even 3years d2s been out for how long???

and now their making WoW - expansion pack.. ( lol boy thats gonna lag badd) ...i think they should start working on d3 or at least d2 patch 1.12

blizz delayed the 1.11 patch for how long u guys like LONG and it just makes me mad... post what u think

First off, i think this should be in D2 Duscussion *NOT* D2 "Hacks" section.

Second, WoW isnt even a year old.

Third, WoW is the gayest game ever, combining d2 and wc together to create the ultimate lagg

Fourth, i belive they took the average of d2 and wc, and then put a .1 after it :-/ , but im not sure on that, i might be wrong lol

They have just needed to patch WoW more than D2. WoW was released prematurely because blizzards publishing company pressured them into releasing it before it was completly done. (battlegrounds being put in by patch as an example) So they focused on lower level content being done and released. Then patched in higher level content as quick as they could. The fact is, the version number means shit, WoW just needed more patches. It really depends on how horribly they ****ed up coding and how many exploits and such are found.

Well guys you should really be glad d2 servers even exist... If electronic arts had created diablo2 instead of blizzard they would have scrapped the starcraft/diablo/diablo 2 servers LONG ago, do a search sometime for Motor City Online and you will see what I mean. MCO was pay to play and they STILL scrapped it after a while, all in all it was an awesome game online play only, and EA left us high and dry. They did offer us a free game as compensation, too bad the titles I had to pick from were so shitty I don't even remember what they were......

So anyways, blizzard has really been great about supporting a game that is over 6 years old, and keeping closed bnet running.. Just think we could all be on open battlenet with no new patches and nothing to challenge the hackers

They have to maintain a lot of servers for all those users and employ a lot of people. Really they could only possibly make 1-2 million profit a month after all the expenses from WoW and then from the free games and office budgets.

Who wouldn't But anyways don't forget guys that blizz does have different departments and different teams for EACH games even tho some must b on 2-3 games but look their doing sc ghost and they are STILL working on WoW even tho personnally i don't like the game a lot ... when u think about it what tells u they didin't start working on D3 ... I mean after all they don't have to officially ANNOUNCE IT to start working on it ... id say they'll announce it when they think the project will b almost over (like 6-7 months left) then ppl are gonna think that it took that much time to do it when in fact it mayb took them another year + 6-7 months to develop it ... mayb more who knows :-/

the battle.net servers are nothing compared to the wow servers. Blizzard doesn't really lose that much money since they are also relying on the client pc for some actions so their servers aren't used to the max.
