Wondering (runes)

ok.. let start.. last night a friend of mine was trying to hunt for runes with 1028% extra gold and 249% mf in act 3 ( the concils ) ... i didnt believe anything will happen but in the morning he called me and I saw he found a cham rune. Do you think it has been just luck or there is any way the extra gold helps (thats what he thinks) ? Thanks.

think about it. how in the HELL would "GOLD find" help you find RUNES

last i checked, runes wasnt gold.
