Wireless Disconnects extremely frequently

I have a wireless network in my house. ti works on every computer except for the desktop closest to the router (i don't have a CAT 5 cable long enough). It disconnects ever 1.5-2 minutes, sometimes even after 30 seconds or less. then it comes right back. This makes it impossible to play WoW or effectively Stumble. Any ideas?

I use a WRT300N router and a PCI Wireless card.

No worries man theres a couple of reasons.one is that you useing Wlan to connect and not the wireless manager built into windows and they comflict:typing:

I stopped the Windows Wireless Zero Service but its still disconnecting every 2-3 minutes. this is really frustrating.
