Winxp cdkey?

well i got a new cop and i wanna install my win xp on it but, i cant find the cdkey. Is there any way to find it out from the computer itself?

i don't think so man just look on the net 4 a key gen thats what i did 4 my window xp pro now i got legit key and burned cd from friend

err probably? If it's anywhere it should be in the registry, unfortunately I'm not on WinXP so I can't help you right now.

Actually, do a google on Napsters Serial Grabber, it shows you what your current serial is.

Microsoft released a Product Key viewer for developers, which got leaked somehow...unless they actually published it

It "should" be on a sticker if you have pre-loaded XP on your computer.

I don't have windows XP here, I just know 98 is in the registry somewhere. I guess if your desperate you could try to find a program that will tell it to you, make sure it isn't a trojan to steal your key.
