Windows on External HDD

Question was answered, but I was wondering if there are any fun tricks you can do with an external hdd.

install a program onto it, trillian, aim, d2, whatever, you can run it from the flash drive [well, most]

External HDD, not flash drive nub. Completely different type of memory. Anyways...that's basically it. They're fun to store stuff on, but nothing really interesting to be done on them.
