Well, this idea has stormed through my head for a good long while. It pertains to my fear of lightless malls, since I've been in one and it was traumatizing back then. I always wanted to make an interesting ''escape'' based map and have the setting be in a massive mall, with flying ships that transported you around the place as well as other things you would see in a mall of the future. Security guard’s would hold machine guns, and rules would be endless. But, I'll submit my idea for The Dark Mall.

Basically, the setting is simple. Make a big map, biggest setting. The triggers would be endless, but I can't get into those until later. You start off as a few different people. If threre’s a trigger to evolve or change a unit at a certain point level, that's what would happen. Plays 1-8 would all have a different character, and whichever player you were, you would be that character in-game. I have thought of doing it where you can choose different characters with each player, but I like this way better, for some reason.

  • Characters:

  • Player 1: Cyber Lord: Essentially a Goliath, these patrol the Mall and stop any riots, fights, or other common mall disturbances. They are fully equipped to face anything that can be thrown at them. An unknwon person stole one of these, and has hence became The Cyber Lord.
  • Player 2: 1999 Era Sage: A High Templar based character, it would use magic to gain an advantage. I don't know how triggers work, but it could evolve into a new High Templar each time with better or more powerful spells.
  • Player 3: Mad Scientists Pet: A mutalisk with an attitude. The Mall will be filled with alien creatures of all kinds, and this guy is no exception. He terrorizes people from the skies.
  • Player 4: Soviet Battleship: This unit would be either a Valkyrie or a Battlecrusier, but I'm not sure seeing as how the monsters, people, and basic enemies on the map may not be all air and the like. He/She would basically be the crazy person that just wants to get home to Mother Russia.
  • Player 5: Empress: The only thing that fits this title is a Kerrigan. The Empress is deadly, physically and mentally. She rules an unknown race which no one in the mall believes exist. For this, she hates everyone.
  • Player 6: The Redeemer: A Dark Templar. The Redeemer is a famous assassin in the time setting of the Mall, but since he's trapped inside it, he feels insecure about all these strange people about. Being a shadowy character, he wants to get out badly and have some R&R.
  • Player 7: Praetor’s Grace: Most UMS Games don't include a Scout Unit as anything but an enemy, but I want that to change. This character is basically stopping in for some parts, and when the Mall goes under, he knows he needs to escape back to Auir.
  • Player 8: Doomsday: Doomsday is basically an assassin, of the Ghost Nature. He is set to be a very talented machines expert, as well as a prime assassin. He moves about stealthy, but he can't seem to escape the mall without everyone else’s help.

The map would be in little areas, you start off in a central area with food, drinks, stores, and the like. The Mall has been put on full alert and everyone’s running around and screaming, and dying too. Aliens have gone berserk as well as men and women who are hectic in getting out. The gates close in 20 minutes, and the timer is ticking. You must escape the Mall before that happens. You will definitely need to collaborate with your teammates to escape alive.

You kill whoever is in your way through the first two areas, then on one of the telecars (These would be Corsairs flying back and forth, like it would look in the future, or something.) would break down, and it would separate the groups somehow, maybe by pairs of 2 each. The groups would fight through underground tunnels, and areas that aren't accessible otherwise. They would escape and join up with the main group if they work together.

The sections that your parties break off into would be littered with enemies, most likely aliens living within the Mall. But the monsters would be killable by whichever party member you get, since it would be a set process on which people end up together, it would be easier to make each area's enemies be killable by the party members that have to go through there. Basic enemies are killable by most units with exceptions being the players that cannot attack air or ground. Teamwork will be required.

Trigger wise, I don't know how this would work. I assume you are great in that department, Azrael. So you could just handle that part. Such as the units evolving into better versions, and the like. This map may never be created, but I like putting an effort into it just because. i don't know how anything would work firsthand, I just know I have ideas that can work out of a piece of paper and can also be made to work out if done right on a map.

That's my map, I hope this post is quality enough. I was going to make it a lot bigger, but I believe that this is a good enough description. If you have any questions for me Azrael, you know where to find me.

Well i figure i might as well though my idea out here as well

you pick a hero every unit should be a hero exept like the transport units
ok and after about 1 min
units for player 8 spawn to kill player 7 who has a whole base but no units and it is your job to hold out as long as you can
6 players = 6 ways units can come
the less amout of players say like 3 players the less ways are open
and after a while you get gas for your kills which can be used for upgrades or buy units for player 7 to use (player 7 will be a computer if your wondering)
and then after about 2 min of the constant spawning of that wave you will have a 30 second break
then the next wave which is harder will start spawning
when player 7 controls 0 building game over
when you outlast all the waves = victory

and a little back story lol

Your base which has all three races living in harmony in it is under attack by other section of the races because they dont think it is right for the 3 races to come together and live so they have sent warriors to kill you
Wave 1 would be zergling
ect....
you get the point

Religious Zealots. There are 2-4 players on each side. One player is jesus and his deciples and the rest are the jews. the jews have too kill as many as they can, and every so many kills (500-1500-2500-blah) a nail is driven into jesus. Everytime a nail is driven in you see an outline of a person and something happens too denote the nail. Anyway, on the fourth nail the jesus guys lose. If the jews cant do it in a certain ammount of time, god smites them and the jesus guys win.

simpsons hit & run

i thought that it would be cool to have the simpsons hit & run maps made (there can be an entire series, 1 of each level for a total of 7)
this is sorta like Grand Theft Auto, but gta is a HUGE map, and i dont htink it can be done, well its the Simpsons

layout: have the map its self, with roads about 5 blocks (2 lanes each w/ a center divider (walkable terrain)), and below the map, have a master control pannle

Missions: If this idea gets accepted, ill work on gettin all of the missions down, some of the styles can be collect all of objects, race a comp, timed racing back n forth, collect in a certain amount of time.

Basic Triggers: centering a location on Homer, the simpson of the first level, at all times; civilian goes near a vehicle (vehicle needs center loc. also) teleport civilain to a single square 1x1 space somewhere off map, have a exit vehicle switch, some other nifty switchs and gadgets :p, have all of the walls and stuff have locations, where if the "car" location goes to the "wall location" the car loses like 5% health or something

Cyber Sex Hotel: Remastered

I've always been a huge fan of the Cyber Sex Hotel maps, and, what can I say, this'll be my tribute to them.

Basically, there's a hotel. Where people have sex. There will be six human slots, four boys, two girls, one gangbang. All players will start off in a dark room.. (Shared vision off, basically). To get everyone in the mood, you can include some moaning and groaning wave files. After that, turn the lights on, and let everyone know it's time to put the motion in the ocean. To aid the action, players will have a few beacons with special abilities:

Premature Ejaculation: This ability will cost 1 MP. The player will be allowed five more seconds in the game, and then will experience a computer crash.

Double Penetration: This ability costs 10 MP. Provided that two males and one female are available.

Humpomeiter: This ability costs 5 MP. It measure how well you can screw.

CliMAXIMUM: Female has orgasm. Could be physically represented by having thousands of units spawning/dieing in one giant bloody orgasm.

That's all I have at the moment, hope I win :).

Map would fit it, but not too big.
The nazis would be ghosts.
The USA would be marines.
Russia would be a swarm of hydraLISKS.
U.K would have a mixture, a few marines and a few hydras.
Japan IS ON GERMANY SIDE. They would consisit of hero marines.
The terrain would be like in risk. U.K DID CONTROL AUS IN WW2.
Russia well, would control russia.
U.S.A Controlled USA and Hawaii and some other islands, China.
Japan only controlled Japan.
Germany controlled PART OF NORTH AFRICA.
For credited idea, name is either: Enema, v1.12b, Advertisement, Protected, GreatMightyPoo.

Maze/Wall Defense

Yes, the name of it sounds like one of those "build bunkers, upgrade, build bunkers, upgrade..." maps, but no. This would be with 4 players (or if needed/wanted), each on their own, vertical island, stretching across most of the screen.

Now, each player has their own SCV. They ca build turrets and supply depots.

Now, they have to build a maze. The enemy units will go from the top to the bottom. The maze has to be complicated enough to make sure that the units can't go down to the bottom before the times reaches zero (0). When the timer reaches zero, all enemy units will die.

This would sound fairly easy, right? I mean, build in zigzag and such would be easy. Thus, every player would have only a few minerals in the start, and only gain a few minerals with each level, and no stacking would be allowed, so you'll have to use a good, yet easy maze to win.

The levels would become faster and faster units (obvious), and after a while, smaller units that can go between the buildings start comming. They come in waves, with a minute or so of skip-able pause between.

after a certain amount of "kills", you would get civilians, which can stand between buildings and block. There would be secrets which can give you a DA (with Maelstorm costing 200 MP), an Infested Kerrigan (with..the "walk-slower" spell costing 200) and such.
