I am wondering... if your weapon has ow/cb/ds and u smite them.... will the ow/cb/ds work? my 2nd question is, if i chamed the wep ( cham freezes target ) and than i smite will they freeze?

open wounds and crushing blow work, but deadly strike does not. cham'ing the weapon does not freeze the target. the only way u'll freeze a target with smite is if u hit them and they are able to be frozen. otherwise use holy freeze.

1 more question... does ias work? and what shield is best for smiters?

the best shield is prolly just an upped zaks.. basic easy

upped hoz does around 3.3k dmg with the right gear. 3.6 is the highest i've heard for upped hoz. and yes ias does help smite.
