Wildfire's Poverty Hardcore Necro!

I have recently started to become a little bored with normal.. so i've decided to play hardcore, cause it seems cool.
Plus I want people to go go "ooo, ahhh" when they see a lvl 90 hardcore char in the channel. So without any more waiting,
here it is: THE POVERTY NECRO!

This gear could be used for any kind of necro.. for now im going with a summoner necro.

Stats:
Strength: 70-80 (this is about all you'll need for a dusk shroud, etc..)
Dex: None!
Energy: None..
Life: Everything else here.

Skills:
Unsure, suggestions...

I will probably use a war hat for this.. perhaps low str and decent defense. If you know something that has low str
requirements and would work, let me know. (Not a fugly mask )

Not too sure what kinda shield to throw this in.. it's gotta have low strength. Probably whatever I come across that has good
defense.

Well, I plan on maxing skeles revives and mastery. After that I plan on pumping up my bone armor synergies.

Sorry for the double post. My hardcore experiance was bad, I was PKed by a level 84 at lvl 22. Anyways, hopefully people will get use out of my guide if they are new to D2.

finally someone posted a guide thats actually ya kno...not total crap. Ide personally substitute the ancients pledge for a nice rare necro head...just for the plus skills....also dont underestimate splendor and like rhyme in a 2os head

Very good, indeed. Can't beat ~50% blocking with awesome mods.

People aren't impressed when they see a level 90 in hardcore. Trust me, it's not that hard to get. Also, if you can't even not get pked, you probably won't get to level 90 for a while.

Ok, on topic:
Summon necros are good, but revives are laggy. In hardcore you want the least lag possible, so never have more than a few revives at a time. Don't waste points into bone shield and it's synergies, it's not worth it. One point with some +skills is enough of a lifesaver, and with all your skeletons working at the enemies you probably won't be getting to close to anything anyway. In hardcore, especially at lower levels, you want to get as much life as you can. Necros don't get much life anyway, so you are going to have to rely on your skeletons to protect you and armors with rubies/life. Another option besides bone shield would be poison nova. With some of it's synergies, you can really help out your skeletons.

Hey, thanks. This is my first guide, perhaps i'll make more.

Flame me for maxing revives? My theory was that in hardcore, you'd want meat shields, especially if you lag out lots. So go ahead and flame me.. but what's a better summon? Mages or golems? Mages flat out suck and golems are a waste IMO. About revives being laggy.. that's never EVER been a problem for me, so no worries there.

Yes, but it could easily lag other people around you, which will result in them dying and then coming after you with another character (possibly). Also, I wasn't flaming your guide, I was just giving, er, suggestions.

First off: My Clay Golem (1 point) slows Enemies 49% on my nec, he's around 17 or so. Add that with your Summons, a Might Merc, and Amp, and voila, you have instant-rapage. Just don't get revive at all, and mages DO suck, even with like a level 30 billion Lower Resist.

I prefer the revives because they tend to take the hits for my skeles.. works good IMO.

Summon necros are good, but revives are laggy.

They'll only lag other people. Any "lag" you supposedly see at your end is due to low frame rates. Anyone with a decent computer should be okay.

Seriously it buggs me when ppl bitch about that...i mean there useful meat shields, theyl protect everyone and theyl fight aswell, if they casue it a little lag it should b tolerable for the service they provide, and besides ...its not our fualt that no one else has a decent computer
