Has anyone bought the Rock Band for Wii?....How is it?.....

I have it for the 360 so i am uninterested in the wii version. to little to late.

all its missing is the character creator and song downloads. better off with 360/ps3

Character Creator, Song downloads (can buy a bonus disk for 30$), online play, and band world tour have been removed. The special effects during songs are gimped and you have the same background videos on all the songs. Other than that, I guess the wii version isn't so bad.

The Wii version has too much bloom.

I played both 360 and Ps2 version. assuming the wii is the same as ps2. i really dotn think there is much of a difference and that downloading new songs is the only thing that sets it apart and makes ps3 and 360 better.

BAWWW animation vid in background is the sameeee. they can have the same 2 second scene played over and over and i wont care. i m following the button sequence.

My brothers bought the game on a whim like two months ago, and within the first week were already sick of all the songs on it and started just mashing the DL songs. I dunno, I hardly ever see them on it anymore, but then again I'm never on my 360 either.

Agreed. I only have 20 or so songs, and can only have 4-5 downloaded at a time (first paycheck I'm getting an HD...), but I play them way more often than the regular songs. I wished more people online had DLC, I'm sick of playing welcome home 15 times a day.

Well, don't get the Wii version. Downloaded content is the bulk of what we play when we do play. Get tired of the old stuff. Rock Band 2 looks like it has a fantastic song list though that and everything will transfer over.
