Why is realms down all the time?

I play for a few minutes, it goes down for at least 20 min

I think it has to do with the new buggy software blizz put in the servers to stop bot users. I get it alot too.

i still dun get my d2 lod thingy...where it says Realm right under Battle Net when u first go inside diablo....the realm place says (in exact words)
GATEWAY: BRUTAL CLAN SERVER

where dis sentence should b USWEST......why is that? and when i wanna choose another realm...it gives me some other names instead of Asia, Europe, or USEAST....
