Whos better droper Pindle or meph

I was able to make an mfer fast and have been doing meph runs.
I recently read somewhere at gamefaqs.com that pindle drops better stuff. Is this true?The sorc i made is a firewall sorc and i can easily kill meph with it, will i have problems with pindle skin?
