Neither. Biden showed he's going to be a better Vice-President, while Palin didn't accelerate McCain's slide. Biden couldn't attack Palin without looking arrogant, so he did what he needed to do.

as a guy who doesn't give a shit about American politics and has competed in and judged debate competitions palin lost and the only reason I've heard that she didn't goes something like "well, our expectations were so low for her that when she didn't fuck up too bad she won". That's a terrible argument and I can't believe our country's standards would be that low. Why anyone would make an excuse for this stupid bitch that insulted our intelligence by trying to wink and "goshdarnit" her way into a role in international policy is beyond me
