Realy? supposedly Joseph Stalin killed something like 30 million of his own people why Hitler killed like 6 million Jews or something. I am not good with History but saw a similar poll so I thought why not?.

Well, the reason why I say that they're both just as bad is the fact that they were both tyrannical dictators in their own ways. Stalin had communism over the Soviet Union and Hitler was a Nazi going over racism.

But there's something about Hitler that I don't think that I'll ever understand: if the 'perfect human' consists of blondes, what about him? He's not even a blonde himself.

Hitler was everything he hated though. He was a quarter jewish brown hair brown eyes short and had a long nose Stalon was a ****ed up person no doubt but hitler was by far crazyer.

Stalin.

Him and Lenon initiated a revolution against the Czar of Russia under the guise of a Communist revolution. Please, not one call the U.S.S.R. or China a Communist country again after reading this, because neither are. They're both dictatorships. Communism, in it's true form is without government. Each member is self-sufficient. It's close to Jean-Jacques Rousseau's view on 'The State of Nature'. The dictator is only appointed head of the government for as long as needed to establish the laws of the land all citizens are expected to live by, and then abdicate his position.

We're comparing evil with evil, and though there's no definate answer, I believe Stalin was worse. Stalin cooperated with Hitler, hence he was just as bad, however he also sent millions of people to Siberia, or had them executed if he felt they threatened him. The man was psychologically disturbed... to the point that if he thought you looked at him wrong, he'd have a hatchet buried in your skull that night.

Stalin used his people's gullibility to control Russia. At least Hitler had the dignity to hate something that didn't believe in him. Not to say he was good... but he caused many people to die in WW2.

Hitler had worse ideas though, but who gives a shit this is all done and over with.

This may sound kind of bad when I explain it but it's just a simplified explanation of my feelings. I think Hitler was worse. Hitler killed people because he thought of them as inferior and for other reasons too I believe. At least the people Stalin had killed were supposed to better the nation. At least some of the kills were supposed to make the nation better, he really wanted to make the U.S.S.R. a major competitor in economic and military power. That still does not make most of the kills right but at least his heart was in the right place. Stalin simply wanted too much progress in too little time. He was trying to bring the U.S.S.R. up to where the Westernized nations were in a series of 5-year plans but it had taken the other nations about a hundred years to reach their conditons. He was trying something very brave but it was a very bad thing for the people of his nation to undergo though.

As I said, my explanation sounds kind of bad. It was definitely not the right thing to do, but the fact still remains that Russia was screwed over in the past by it's ruling czars. Most czars had refused to modernize and that caused Russia to be less and less of a world power until they were barely a match for anyone. The aristocrats stayed with the old ways and when they should have been looking to the future. Even when the middle-class had arisen to become an actual power within Russia the elites refused to believe that anyone other than them would amount to anything. Clinging to the past like that was definitely their downfall. Also China and Japan had similar problems. Japan had the most success and China has had more success overall than Russia has I think simply because they have so many people. It's hard to believe that the world is screwed up today mostly because of Europeans and their imperialistic ways. Africa was especially screwed over because of European conquest. Now back to the original topic. Stalin was simply trying to put his nation back on track and make it a contender in the world. Hitler on the other hand was trying to take over the world. Now who do you think is better when put that way. Stalin was not a good person, I will be the first to admit that.
