Umm no. You want something like a passion, or some other weapon with IAS and a HUGE BOOST TO ATTACK RATING. Then you definately want a shield. CoH armor is good, helm wise many different helms could work. Ammy I'd go maras or rare/crafted, for rings, rare/crafted are good, or maybe BK/Raven if you're desperate. Arachnid Sash is a good belt, or alternitively SoE. Gloves and boots can be pretty much anything; I personally used waterwalks.

Energy Shield increases damage sent to mana
Telekinesis decreases the damage sent to mana every time you are hit...like more def in a way

after making two completely separate sorc builds i suggest:

20 enchant CrAzY Damage And huge bonus to AR
20 fire mastery very nice damage bones, well worth it
20 warmth recover mana, fire dmg bonus
10 telekinesis helps A LOT with ES
10 Energy Shield not worth maxing, definetely worth some points...up 2 you
1 cold arm of ur choice...

i agree with shadow hunter on the energy shield point allotment more.

your gear will prolly get you high enough energy shield, so just put em into telekinesis.
