I do things because I think it's cool and stuff. I don't pay enough attention to know what Hot Topic or other people say is cool.

I dress the way I dress because these clothes are comfortable and don't get dirty easily (big plus for my job). I act the way I act because I feel like it. Yeah.

I am just saying, most people who don't try to fit into a group probably are in a group. With all that "rebeling" and "pink is punk" nonsense he is just trying to be in punk without calling it that.

a lot of the people i know and soemtimes hang out with look as if all there clothes came outta hot topic. i bloody hate that. wow instead of actualyl ripping up and dirtying my shirt, i can make a fashion statement and buy a pre-****ed up shirt at hot topic becuase then ill be scene and i can shave my head and automatically be a PUNK RAWKER!!11

a shirt, with nothing special to it

a sweatshirt, there was a hole in it that pissed my mom off so i put a safety pin in it to "fix" it just to piss her off more. everyone thinks i bought it from hot topic but i bought it from macys for the love of god...

dilapidated shoes that i fixed with duct tape to once again vex my mother about it, i did not put on the duct tape for any other reason.


many many people get the wrong idea :-/

I don't wear what I do because I think it's cool, I wear it because I like it. Nameless was saying, he wears the same thing everyday. That is pretty much the case with me. During school, I have about 10 pairs of pants, all the same kind, color, brand etc. I only have black shirts, never changes.

I don't fit in any group...nor' do I want to. I'm not going to confine myself to certain "regulations" to be part of some clique or group. I hate stereotypes for the most part, because most of the time they seriously degrade the true lifestyle... although sometimes they are useful. I hate how bad goths are looked upon now. Everyone thinks a goth is some angsty teen that runs around slitting their wrists listening to slipknot. It's far from the truth, and we can all thank stereotyping people for that.

About hot topic, I find it idiotic how some people are almost afraid of it. For some it's posers corner, for other's it's just a store. It's whatever you use it for. If you think BECAUSE You shop at hot topic you are goth/punk whatever, you're wrong...but I'll ocationally purchase something on sale there. I'm not going to go "OMG EWW HAWT TOPIC POSERVILLE" *runs away*.

On your next question, I dress and act the way I do because it's who I am. I express myself through clothing, art...whatever. Not to be "cool".

By the way, if you think avoiding pop culture, and all trends out there is making you different, it really isn't. Thousands of people think and act just like you. In it's own way, it is a trend.

Trending is rediculous...I have worn whatever I could find in my closet for the past 12 years. I've never tried to fit with any "new trend", I've always just worn whatever I feel like wearing. Right now I'm just wearing a pair of baggy jeans and a Rage against the Machine shirt...who cares?
