Well I'm a Counter-Strike player of course and I've been using this Logitech "Limited Edition" mouse that I bought from Wal-Mart for a good while now ,and I've decided to get a new one.

I've pretty much narrowed the search down to two mice:

The Logitech MX700 - $37.00 (with mail in rebate)
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=26-104-128&depa=0

Features: Cruise Control scrolling system, MX Optical Engine, Quick Switch Program Selector, Fast RF cordless technology, Works With PC & Mac
- I'm sure theres more then newegg mentions...

Razor Viper Gaming Mouse - $45.00
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=26-153-101&depa=0

Features: 1000 DPI Optical - Sleek ergonomic ambidextrous profile - translucent exterior design, Two Ultra-large nonslip buttons - Finger tip grip for accurate and precise targeting control, Nonslip side rails - performance grip design, Ultraslick teflon feet - zero accoustic feedback, Gold Plated Max-Conductive USB connector

Oh yes, and this mast has to be really fast.(IOW, I need to be able to pick from MID with an AWP) So tell me if one/both are laggy when it comes to response times. Also, looking for a cheap($20.00? Mouse Pad thats larger then average).

Finaly, give me some review links if you can from places you know that post ACCURATE non-biased reviews.

Theres no way in hell I'm going back to ball mice. Cleaning them every other day; they just don't have enough consistancy, and these mice were built for gaming.

Eh I use the Microsoft wireless elite desktop set.. mouse is great but its massive.

Anyways, choose whichever mouse you feel better about. Maybe you could find some reviews somewhere?

Well I would like to find reviews, but I'm not sure which would be accurate, and I would also like someone who owns one of the mice to tell me about it.l

Logitech > all. I have a MX500 and see no way to improve it, but if they releases a MX700 it's probably possible. I can move the mouse pixel-perfect, even when fast. Flickering as aiming technique is perfect with Logitech optical mice since they're so accurate. Notice you should use a decent mousepad, otherwise it doesn't really matter which mouse you use.

Actually I think I may use the mousepad coming out by Razer(the same company that made the mouse). It has two side, Control and Speed, and it has got alot of good reviews.

If you go wireless make sure the batteries aren't getting low in the middle ofa game. It could start to stop responding if it is low on battery power. I don't see why you need an ambidextrous mouse unless you are left handed and play with a the mouse in your left hand...

Otherwise known as a mouse spasm.

I would probably go for the Logitech, I dont care much for the look of the gaming mouse, and logitechs are a well known brand.

Well you see, so are the Razor. Back in the day when everyone used ball gaming mice, they made the best. Until logitech in the last few years made better/faster/more accurate optical. I actually am thinking about going with the Razor, or a mx? that has a cord(I need a very very small delay, even if its .1 a sec or .05)

The MX is better in actual fact. It IS better. I don't know any other possibilty to stress it other than capitalizing it. Maybe bolding it works: It is better. It really is.
And what N4L said is untrue. Optical mouse flicker was an issue back when the first ones came out. This problem is unexistant by now.

I have had much luck with Longitech, all my computers have their optical mice. But I personally dont think cordless is the way to go, even though they may be moved all over the place, why would you? Charging it and all, I just stick with my cord optical mouse. In that case, I would go with the Razor, but thats just my opinion.

Do not buy a mouse online Unless you demo it first. I would go to a local best buy or retailer and look for the one that feels the most comfortable to you. If you get one that does not feel good, then you'll hate it. Trust me ive been to the other side.
@lliaran

Damn thats a nice mouse... proabably freaking expensive too!
