Which is better???

im thinkin of buyin warcraft 3 but im kinda wondering if its better than starcraft. i have starcraft and its f**kin awsome but its gettin boring now, im looking for a new game but i dunno if warcraft 3 is good or not. sum ppl say its great and sum ppl say its the worst game blizzard has made. so can u post here and let me know if i should get it or not? thx.

Yes you will get bored with SC faster than with WC.Warcraft is much better because you can play with 12 players, there are heroes campaigns with cinematics with so many effects,so many spells and even units like hydralisks,zerglings and marines exist.(No they are not part of any of the 4 races)

it really depends on your playing style. if you enjoy rushing, massing and overall chaos stick with sc. war3 is the thinking man's game (but then again there are ppl that are dumbasses like me) one unit can turn the tide of batte (play wardraft and ul see for yourself) and massing one unit will 80% of the time make you lose.

lots of ppl complain about the excessive micromanagement that is required to be good at the game but i find it rewarding when you take out not only their army but you also stomp on their beliefs and dreams when you kill 12 frost wyrms.

Plus, if you ever get bored with the Warcraft ladder, there are countless custom maps, with so many more triggers then starcraft. You will never get bored.

But yeah WC is very awesome man with the heroes and everything... just very nice.

It kinda sucks cause everyone and their mother rushes in WC. It is sometimes sucks because you can't use some units to their full potential...

but in a sense it keeps the game at an all time high for pace. but i would go for WC its a blast.

hmmm sweet...i just played wc3. my friend brought it over and it kicks ass! damn i luv the level up for heroes cuz it gives wc3 a little rpg style. very nice. this is definetly going into my collection of blizzard games.

I have had WCIII for a while now but it has been collecting dust. I just recently came addicted to it and world editor. I got a pretty cool map but it is huge. Basically Human, Night Elf, and Orc vs Undead with ill start out base, but you don't care, do you?

SC often has better gameplay while WC3's gameplay can get very repetitive. I like them both, but in different ways.

warcraft III is good but it is definately lacking something. StarCraft was amazing I had to break the cd just to stop playing. When you get as good as I had it has to come to that.

You are correct. It is lacking something..and I am not sure what it is.

well wc is better in my opinion because in sc all you do is just mass the same guys all the time. like hydras and the spider guys or carriers?

but in warcraft, u normally tend to get a variety of things plus there's heroes and much more to it than sc. you can get different units instead of seeing the same thing all the time
