Safari. Fast, simple, no nonsense. I wish it had a little more control over blocked popup windows, but otherwise it's perfect. Tabbed browsing is absolutely wonderful, it saves so much clutter. It's the reason Microsoft stopped developing Internet Explorer for Mac , it's just that good.

The reason they MS stoped making IE for the mac is because mac's are peices of shit. I use FireFox, no question about being the best browser out there.

You -hats fail to realize that Internet Explorer is one main source of spyware, virii and new ones aimed at IE users are being developed all the time. Mozilla on the contrary is open-source thus making it much more secure because a lot more people are working on it at once enabling a high level of security and fast bug-fixing.

If macs are pieces of shit, why does everyone use them? Games come out for them first, about 95% of pc games are MADE on them and about 100% of console games are made on them, music and movies are always produced on them.. Panther is the evolution of OS's. It does things windows can't do 10 years from now.. plus runs every app and game I can think of at ungodly speed gains over win. And has a slicker interface.. blah blah.. but I'm sure you knew that.

Not everyone use them. I don't use them. It's not that great for the enthusiastic world. Sure macs are superior in software support, but they are limited to hardware upgrades and such. The highest endish gpu i've seen so far for the macs are the R360 cores, when we already have gpu that are 3 times the performance and even dual gpu capabilities for the PC world. Like i said, it's not the best to the enthusiast but it's better off as a workstation; making games, movies, music and such. And i agree, windows does suck balls as a power hogger. But you can always emulate it in Linux.

Safari is an alright browser for macs. Although i still prefer firefox over safari on macs. Becuase Firefox is open source. it is also cross-platform. And it has tabbed browsing and is very simple. WITH A POPUPBLOCKER!!!


All of you who use IE fail to realize its shittyness. Avant browser is not a browser at all. It is only an addition to IE.
