I'm conflicted.

on the one hand, I'm way to fucking old to go see it, so I'll have to wait a bit to watch it. Because this is my childhood, and I have to see it.

On the other hand it looks like a pretty lame movie. The book doesn't really seem like it could adapt to... pretty much anything.

On the plus side, it looks like minimal CGI for the monsters was used, and cutting down on the CGI is always beneficial in the long run.
