I'm on an indefinite leave of absent from school for boredom purposes and I took a job driving over the road truck. Just got back from hauling lingerie to San Bernadino, CA. No ****. I'll probably do it for a couple years till I get bored and then I'll go back to school for whatever the ****. If you don't see me post here once a month or so it's probably cause I got in a terrible wreck and died.

I was training with a company mentor for six weeks, so right now I'm on hanging out at home for about a week getting some **** straightened out and then I'll get assigned to a truck.

Most of my crazy stories are more about my nutcase mentor and less about driving. Don't want to get into it too much, but I talked him through his divorce while I was on his truck.

Anyway one of my friends just convinced me to become a lumberjack when I'm done driving, so I doubt I'll be going back to school anytime soon.

San Bernadino is another ****ing world man. All of CA is. So far TX and CA are my favorite. We spent about a whole day in Fontana waiting for a load, you should have come and hung out.

The company has a policy against it, but I really want to. We saw a really cute hippy chick backpacking down the I80 in Iowa. And I could have been like hey baby I'm an art school dropouuuut yeeaah. ****in company policies.

San Bernadino is my hometown, bay-bee! Haven't been there since I was 5ish, but still pretty sweet.

I actually know a lot of people who drive trucks...lotsa family do it, and apparently it's a pretty **** job unless you're ok with being bored for extended periods of time, and are fairly good at following maps.
