Better is a matter of opinion.....

GU Editor is supposed to do everything that SCM does, but since I've never used GU, I wouldn't know.

Anybody out there ever use both?

You mean GUEdit? Cus GUEdit can only change player color, change terrain, protect maps, save and load triggers and repair location bug.

SCM toolkit allows you to stack minerals for N00b maps, and put the blizzard, KBK (Knights Bridging Korea), ladder, and PGL (Pro Gamer's League) symbols on the map too. And has anyone been able to get the "Fake Authentification" thing to work? When i go on Bnet with the falsely authenticated maps, if i try to launch a game, it says "Unable to Authenticate Map".
