whenever i feel like i wanna get away i only get so far before i feel lonely so i usually turn around...i guess i never really wanna "run away" by myself, and i dont know anyone cool enough to take off with...so i usually just go mow the lawn, or billy madison it up in the pool (18 pocket suntanner lounge...12 of them with beers in them)...and the best thing is! they're always cold!!

Getting away from it all for me is kayaking. Just going on a nice calm stream or river and paddling. Not having to worry about anything. Just time to relax and think.

Other than that i escape into my music. Nothing calms me down more than a raging guitar solo!

and a nice gn n tonic

You're insane. Back when they invented that drink, people only drank it because they didnt wanted to die of malaria (it was a medecine). Its terrible.

And to get away, I bike 65 miles to another city, then find a café and read a book for the day, get a few beers, coffee, and sandwich, then I ride back home after dinner.

Actualy, I dont do that to "get away", I do that 3 or 4 times a week. My vacations are awesome.
