When did b.net players get so anal?

Lately I have noticed there have been alot of pricks online lateley. I had started a lightning sorceress a couple days ago, so I joined a tomb running game, because I was lvl 23 and needed only 1/2 lvl to become 24, so that I could kill the ancients and start baal running. The game had just been created and about 4 people joined the same time I did. I quickly went ahead and identified some of my items and sold them when I first joined in and then a grouped with the party. I think looked to see where they were all at, and they had already entered one of the tombs, so I simply asked for a tp. Then this one guy says that I am a lazy asshole and that he shouldn't have to do all the dirty work. I explained that I was selling stuff, and he accused me of lying. And then he asked me if I would like to be squelched, I then told him I was so scared that he might squelch me, since the only time I talk in game is when someone talks to me first or if I need a tp. Anyways, I figured hell there are like 5 people in this game so I might as well go down and enter a tomb on my own and lvl real fast. So I cleared out my first tomb by myself and was very close to leveling, and then like 3 people leave the game, and the asshole dies. So I laugh and say look who just died. And then he leaves the game and comes back as his lvl99 barb and goes hostile against me, and then he asks me for a tp so that he can help me, and I told him I am not that stupid. So I continue on to my next tomb and was just about to lvl when he finally found me and casted poison nova somehow and died. I return to town and tell him how super cool he was that he killed my lvl23 sorc with his lvl99barb, and then I left the game and gained my level in another game. I have been seeing alot of people lately calling others noobs and whatnot for no reason at all, why can't we all just enjoy the game?

Do not worry. That's not so bad. On West you have worse in my opinion, but yea, I can notice a steady increase in Diablo II Idiots now.

I hate it when you ask them to ally and they don't ally and even after asking like 5 times they still don't so you have to spam "****ING ALLY ME GOD DAMN IT" like 10 times before they do. Pisses me off lol..

I concur, and I also hate newbs who are asking me to "PARTY PARTY UP" and spam the whole screen, when Im teleing to baal -_-

bleh... i feel ur pain. 47 barb levling in a NM game, with a 39 trap asn spamming "lets do den lets do den lets do den lets do den " over and over again. I suggested that we go to act2 and on, since we just killed andy, and he wouldnt have it. he hostiled me... (trapsin)

in NM i have 85 it resist with my T-gods, and the added resist from a pdiamond whistans, and an imp brow. Pretty much, with hsi low lvl traps and dmg, they would do nothing. So... i raped him lol. And his first reaction? accuses me of potting, then gets his 87 zon and hostiles. Kills me, but took him long enough, since i still have 85 lit resist and absorb lol ^^

i told everyone to look at how proud he was and he left =/

The absolute best feature in Diablo II: The Squelch button. Blizzards solution for morons!

Meaning: I run into idiots daily, I don't even give them warning, I just squelch if they start acting all bitchy.

ya its definatley increasing some lately.. i miss the people that played 1.08 and 1.09.. alot of the people i use to play with quit when people acually started paying money for items i can see why to tho. Now most players are greedy and do anything for rushes and items

That is a great answer ^^ That is one thing that I do like better in D2 is that it is at least somewhat harder for someone to pk you. That used to piss me off so much in D1 when I would be killing Diablo and then someone shoots a fireball in my back. Anyways, thanks for all the replies guys.
