Thats happened to me before. All I did was restart my computer and it seemed to work fine after that.

if you have dsl then your ip will not change without a little tweaking on your computer. Do you have a router?

Ok, I dont know how much you know about routers and how your ISP assigns ip addys, but your going to need to change the MAC address your router is cloning. If you dont really know what I am talking about I'll try and post you some screen shots of how I change the MAC address on my router.

Here is where the MAC address setting is at in my router...

I removed my current MAC adress just cause... This though is the number that you need to change. Your best bet is to pick a mack address from someone elese on your network (ie. another computer).

Here is where my router shows me all the computers connected to my router, again i blurred the MAC addresses.

Pick one of the MAC addresses from the list and replace it with your current MAC address, apply the settings and reboot your router. Some routers can be toucy with this and it will take a few restarts to get it changed.

Remember though, that was my router so changing yours will probly be different.

Hope that helped.

to get to that i think wat it looks like he did. i may be wrong. is acces your router. and look for something about ip addresses. (there should be an icon you can go to) but it looks like he is using the little box thing(forgot wat its called =\) and changing it there. so try exploring the router and see if you can do anything with that if not go to the "home" computer and change it with the box. this happened to me one day with road runner. I just had to wait it out. it took about 3 hours maybe more. but if all else fails call your dsl provider. they should be able to see wats wrong with it.
