I have 2 comps right now, so I'll start with the worse of the two:

(1) ATX Motherboard + Case (Unsure of make, however assembled by Proteva, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy not long after I purchased it back in '98);
(3) PCI expansion slots
(2) ISA expansion slots
Onboard video, and soundcards (NEVER BUY A COMPUTER WITH ONBOARD VID OR SOUND!!! YOU'LL SO REGRET IT)
(1) AMD K6-2 CPU; 400mHz w/ MMX technology (LOL!!!)
(1) 256mb gold-pin DIMM
(1) Voodoo 3 2000 (I believe 8mb video RAM)
(1) LG 52x Max CD-ROM
Windows 2000 w/ SP2

I'm currently missing my 3.25" floppy drive, as my friend "borrowed" it a few months ago...

On to my other P.O.S...

(HP Laptop)
(1)14.1" XGA active-matrix LCD display 328 x 272 x 38 mm

(1)ATI Mobility Radeon graphics accelerator w/ 16mb DDR graphics memory and 4x AGP graphics capability; dual display support

(1)1.8gHz Intel Pentium 4 CPU with L2 cache (no L1 :( )

(1)30GB removable hard drive with Ultra-DMA 100 interface

(1)24x CD-ROM/CD-RW/8x DVD-ROM/

(2) 256MB Mini-DIMMs = 512MB Random Access Memory

Generic Audio w/ 3D-enhancement.

Sadly.... 87/88 key QWERTY keyboard w/ 101/102 key emulation(wishes for 2 PS/2 slots in laptop for mouse and Dvorak keyboard compatability. However yes, I could just get a USB mouse)

(1)10/100 Etherfast NIC

(1)56K (V.92) modem

(1)Radio: IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN NIC; Range: 300ft and mini-PCI interface

(1) ECP/EPP parallel port

(1) VGA video output w/ DDC support

(3) USB 1.1 ports

(2) 16-/32-bit PC Card slots. Type II or III, CardBus enabled

Windows 2000/Red Hat Linux 7.2 Dual-boot Operating System (I could have Windows XP, but I have serious gaming conflicts on XP Home)

Bah, I forgot to add I have a 2 year warranty on my screen.

My tower I bought back in '99 which came with Windows 98 Second Edition, however I have friends in nice places :p Total cost for that was about $1200 at the time.

Cost of my laptop which i bought about 3 months ago was around $1700. I'm hoping to get a router in here and have a few b.net bots running constantly on my shitty tower.

I think the best way to go is Dual processors.:D
It good because while one processor is sending info. one is receving.........:) and i would probaly get a G force 4 Ti4600 with 128MB for a computer..........heh but i have to wait till Christmas to get it since my dad cant afford it right now.........:p so i have to deal with this 4 year old comp wich is slower than shit..........

486/66Mhz, ancient motherboard, 20MB RAM (no idea what speed it is), extinct company 1MB video card, sound card no idea what brand (but it's not onboard, no idea if it existed then), 540MB hard drive, 1.44MB Floppy, and the thing probably worth more than the entire PC: a 48x CD-ROM unbranded drive. And..... forced to run Windows 98 First Edition, Internet Explorer 6 and Outlook Express 6. Takes 2 minutes to load, 2 minutes to load Outlook Express, 1 minute to load Internet Explorer, and cannot run Worms 2! Can burn entire hard disk onto CD. Never crashes, but can't do anything either. According to what I've heard, it's worth more as scrap metal (except the CD-ROM). And I've used it for 7 years. :D

What I want for Christmas: AMD AthlonXP 2800+ (if it's out by then), Socket A motherboard supporting RDRAM, 1024MB PC1066 RDRAM, 160GB 9600rpm Hard drive Ultra ATA-133, 128MB DDR aTi Radeon 9700 Pro video card, 48x24x48 CD-RW, 16x DVD-ROM, 1.44 Floppy, 4x USB, 2x IEEE1934 ports, 21" Flat Panel :D. LOL AHAHAHAHAH.

First of all "VIDEO CARD
Abit OTES GeForce4 Ti4200 64mb AGP DDR Video
From www.auspcmarket.com.au
$357.50" HOLY SHIT THAT IS OVERPRICED. Goto www.newegg.com for the best prices. That card is worth about $70. Go with the ATI Radeon 9700, the best card out there now, for a little bit more. Or get the 4200 128MB for only 160.

Second of all, the post b4 me, there is no such thing u damn lier. Intel Pentium's latest processor is 3.04 ghz, which you can overclock to 3.4/3.5.
