Thats what its supposed to do. Shotgun and BR will own you. But what owns more is Sniper and BR. I can use the BR close range as long as I see them before they see me.

i like haveing the sniper and the shotgun.....it seems to work most of the time.

Try having the sniper rifle and sword at the same time, since power weapons dont respawn until someone either uses all the ammo or drops them off the level you have a very mean combo that your opponent cant get unless he manages to kill you but with a certain amount of skill you can use the sniper and sword to be untouchable.
