What's the best MF to use for pindle and mephing?

I have about 750% magic find, and i dont find shit, what do you guys use to find such good stuff?

I know it takes perseverence and luck, but what% MF do you guys use? if i were to mf for 4 days straight with 0 MF, id find wors stuff then if i MFed 4 days with 1000% MF, id just like to know a good idea of what % my MF should be to find decent stuff

get it as high as you can, so long as you can continue doing runs without dieing too often

Magic Find

I've noticed that certain values of MF seem to modify WHAT items I find...not just type, but quantity.

IE: With 400% MF or less, I used to find things like this from NM Meph:

03/02/25 21:17:39 : [Ecpt] Lavagout
03/02/25 22:38:07 : Unique Ring Dropped
03/02/25 23:32:42 : [Normal] Goldwrap
03/02/26 02:15:46 : Unique Ring Dropped

Then I up my MF. I get things like this:
03/03/03 14:05:26 : [Exceptional] Valkyrie Wing
03/03/03 14:28:36 : [Exceptional] War Traveler
03/03/03 14:48:13 : [Exceptional] String of Ears
03/03/05 04:27:31 : [Exceptional] Bartuc's Cut Throat
03/03/05 04:33:33 : Rare Amulet Dropped
03/03/05 04:43:44 : [21] Pul Rune Dropped
03/03/05 04:50:41 : Rare Amulet Dropped
03/03/05 05:17:26 : [Exceptional] Titan's Revenge

And, while these are partial logs, the point is this:
I stopped finding the less "rare" items.

So there are levels of MF for finding stuff. =)
I've got ~600 MF now on Pindle, and here's some log excerpts:

so you use 600% on pindle? i use about 750% and heres what i have gotten in the past day(i dont use pindle bot, i cant find a good one):
Countess:Tirs, Els, Elds, and Eths
Meph:Ik Belt, Laying of The Hands, Ali Baba
Pindle:Nothing

well i guess i'm a noob....
ran 8k runs on my meph and i can tell u i find best around 650 mf....
call me a noob if u will but i went 2 weeks not finding anything at about 8 hrs a day with 950 mf.....
dropped it to 650 and started finding items like mad

you really dont need more than 600 mf. Maybe your bot isnt killing the boss effectively so i would say change you gear a little to kill him more.
