What ya do about this building rush?!!

Me Undead like I am. opponent Night elf.


Okay we start. He comes in my base with the Demon blind retard and goes around for Acols. I thought he was putting on a fast multi even though the map was moonglade. and I was going fast frenzy since the creeps are hard to hunt.

When I stard hunting, and my base was going to black citadel.. I spot buildings.... I mean like a hell lot of buildings. 3 protecters 3ancient of wars WTF.

I try to stop this guy. got 2heros, DL, DK put sleep to demon go for the trees. Damn. Ghouls die out so fast. Managed to get one protecter but this guy starts eating trees with buildins that are damaged. I try to stop his way to the trees by surrounding the buildings with ghouls which keep dying out.


Thought I could do it. I had formed another crypt when I saw those damn buildings. Thought I could make it. The otherguys control wasn't really good.

Humm... Typically, I find ghouls the most affective against building attacks like this. If you wern't ready for it, I guess theres really not much you can do. The best plan is to probibly scout the map more often so you can avoid these attacks before they hit you (building move fairly slow, so they're easy to spot). And with eat tree, I find that I can dish out alot more damage that eating trees heal.

ancient rush

ancient rush against an UD is very difficult to stop... i would reccomend SCOUTING.
if you discover he is trying to ancient rush (NOT DIFFICULT PPL, THEY ARE THE SLOWEST UNIT IN THE GAME) expand//upgrade your towers.
just keep sleeping the DH because he is your biggest worry and get lots of ghouls + Vampiric.

Scouting. Guess that's really the only way because night elf buildings are so strong.... I really often see them using the buildings. They tech up to dryad then bring 2or 3ancient of wars that they don't use to attack. Very strong..

Buildings are.. Very strong.


Good thing vampiric aura works for the protecter. Or it would have been fatal for undead.

there is no point at all for human defences because they are very bad. if you know any retards that have put human deences in your base to hurt u then u should shoot them

Use Shades. One Shade can really help scout, except occasional Far Seers, Human Towers and er... something else.

Someone did this building rush on me once. The map was Scorched Basin, and I quickly sent my Death Knight to creep with 5 Ghouls, when I noticed an Ancient of War being built outside my base. Then I noticed a second, and three more finished ones heading toward my base. 5 Ancient of War, and me without my Meat Wagons.. I ended up killing all of them, and as I did, my ally attacked the Night Elf main. The guy died because he didn't have anything to defend himself with. We ended up losing the game because the other guy actually got out some Chimaeras and lots of Huntresses.

The best thing you can do is to prevent this from happening in the first place. Kill the buildings as they are being created near your base, and if he's walking them over then lead creeps into them. He'll probably attack the creeps and they'll finish the job for you. Another good thing to do is to get a couple siege units as fast as possible and leave your Ghouls full of health, because chances are soon he'll send over some heroes with Archers and more buildings.

yeah ancient rush is rather hard to stop, trust me i use it. hehe.

some guy named mrmajesti wrote a strat over realmofwarcraft. as for stopping it i dont know. havent played too many people who have did the same to me.

As soon as you seen the ancients why the hell didnt you get meat wagons? They would raped the trees fast I think A guy tried to go mass ancient of war on me it took to billistas to take 15 of them out this was on a small map dont know the name but the closet mine always has a lv 6 and two lv 2 dogs by it I think.

Once you go meat wagons, they go air. That's the trick to it: to make you waste time getting things you don't need.
