What the hell

anybody ever heard of this....

whenever i try to open any window explorer windows (like any type of folder...not internet explorer)
everything on my screen disappears and reappears about 3 seconds later, just like restarting explorer.exe, but the folder doesn't come up....whoever figures this out for my gets my avatar desktop size =)

through the 1 1/2 years or so that i have know you...i still dont like you

ya, its most likely spyware. a virus is different... they trash your pc...

Actually, I have had this problem before...and it wasn't a virus or spyware. It was something screwed up in my indexing...I just right clicked on the start bar and clicked explorer, got to the folder, and moved everything to a new folder, for some reason that fixed it =\

YEAH MY COMPUTER DOES THAT ALL THE TIME, IT JUST USUALY NEEDS TO BE RESTARTED CAUSE ITS BEEN ON TO LONG...

well i have restarted and turned off about 100 times...and i tried the start bar explorer thing.....didn't work

It does this when Windows Explorer crashes. Did you recently change any major settings or DL/install anything new?

Can you open up programs from your desktop successfully, or is it just in Windows Explorer?
