What should a very first char be????

Hi i just started out on east (played on west with my great barb and sorce) and i need to get some gear for my new chars and i dont know wat i should start out as... Also i will need some help with the build and everything. If someone helps me i will be really happy:) Please post as soon as possible

blizz sorc, massacore anything without any godly gears!

If you don't like spellcasters, use a barbarian. Otherwise yes, a cold sorceress using blizzard would do nicely as their damage is really high even without high-end equipment.

I would say a barb is a little hard to start with as first char.. Cus u have No weapon(s) at all. So start with a sorc and mf a little to get some gear.

My very first char was Sweaty Ogre MF Orb Sorc and I have to say she works great even without equipment. Fire Sorcs dind't work well for me, but hey, they can do Countess runs in hell and Cold sorcs cant.

should be
cold sorc (for meph and andy and pindle with merc)

and

lite sorc (for countess)

hammers (too expensive) and fire sorc (not sucha great sorc cept for andy but cold sorc can multitask better)

there ya go.

that about sums it all up. i think actually a barb wouldnt be a bad choice if your really a noobie as they are easy to handle, but if your looking for items right of the bat, go with a sorc.
