What type of mices u guys like more? wireless or with cable?

I like more the ones with cable because the wireless ones require recharging and are very heavy. Unfortunately the technology is in favor of the wireless ones from the point of view of the dpi.

i use a black logitech mouse i bought for like less than 20 bucks at staples

and the only reason i use it is because i ****ing hate touchpads

whenever i one of my hands feel lazy, i use the touchpad otherwise its mouse>touchpad

its not wireless but screw batteries/recharging, it has 2 buttons with a scroller and its a laser one; nothing too fancy, just the essentials

Cable, wireless mice are never as precise. Even the new G7 has some issues. The copperhead has 2000 DPI as well as the G7. They actually use the exact same laser technology from what I've read.

Though if anyone here is thinking of buying a new mouse I would reccomend waiting for the second generation of laser mice or buying a Razer Diamondback/ MX518 instead of the new Copperhead/G5-7. There are tracking issues with the new laser technology -_-.

If it's an Intellimouse 3.0, it's an excellent mouse. Maybe not in the specs, but it has one sexy feeling while holding it.

I've got a MediaPlay mouse, but I let my girlfriend use it because I don't play video games anymore. I use it when I watch DVDs on my laptop (the 15.4-inch screen is bigger than our TV and it has better speakers). It's a nice mouse... have you ever tried using it as a controller before?

I have good old ball and cable. Its really starting to annoy me. Last ball mouse I had I ripped out of the computer and threw against the wall during a game of D2 when my mouse fudged up and I lost a pretty important duel.
I want to get a laser mouse. Not wireless though. Those, why...

Not really.. I have a Razer Copperhead, which gets the same DPI as a Logitech G7. I think logitech has a new one which is a little higher. Really, anything 1600 and up won't offer much of a performance difference.

I'm wired all the way, since I'm a gamer and I don't want to deal with heavy-ass mice, battery life, etc. Generally, Logitech vs. Razer is a 100% opinion thing, since they're both excellent companies. If you're a lefty, I feel sorry since Logitech hasn't shown you much love lately.

Ive got a wired Logitech MX500 and a Logitech MX510red on my other computer. I love these mice. The only 2 other mice i would get would be the mediplay or the MX1000(more likly). The g7 only has one side button, lame? yeah, very lame.

Cable. Wireless would suck if I had no charged USBcells left at the moment I need them.
