What items to pickup?

Yea, sounds completly nub, but i am really not sure what is worth picking up and what not.

I know about shako's occy's wf, HoZ, blah blah blah


But i mean like, open socketed grays for runewords, and what would make a good rare ammy/ring/tiara? and what about charms, what are the stats most wanted on them besides skills?

Basicly,pick up all 4/5/6 socketed high dmg weaps,and besides that just pick up anything you need

But im not looking for things for myself, i have a char from 1.10 right when the patch came out, but it didnt expire, a hammerdin and hes fine with equip, im just looking for nice equip to trade/give to friends.

find open socket superior elites, and unique elites. and you'll basically be set...

Pick up socketed items that you will think you can make badass runewords and still be of use to you. Like if you found an armor that goes for enigma, try wire fleece or greater.

If you wish to sell things, sell any useless items, armors greater than ring, staffs or wands with useles + attributes, helmets beyond war hat, useless rings and ammies (however the horadric cube can play with these).

Charm wise, go for things that give + skills, +life and mana, mf, poison damage etc.

I pick up everything and give them to my mule and my other and other one and well u know whr this is going..

If you really dont know, just pick up all set rare and unique items in hell and nm and trade/keep if they are good.. Eventually you will get used to whats what without picking them up. For socketed items i usally pick up (and chuck if they are bad) socketed flails, armor, and depending, helms and other shit. Ive found and traded tons of 40s flails and 3os helms and 3-4os armors.
