What is an Idependent Command Center?

What is an Idependent Command Center and how do you place one?

An Independent command center is a unused unit by blizzard. Most likly taken out. Yet the unit is still there just has no graphic therfor it crashs starcraft im guessing because it searchs for the graphic, and since it cant find it it crashs sc...I have no clue why it crashs sc. SI or Heimdal could probably answer you there.
(Wherever they are).

But it does, Use X-tra 2.5,2.6(2.5 has it right?). Starforge, and scmdraft 2 i believe can also.

no 2.5 doesn't have it. Its the only draw back to 2.5 when compaired to 2.6 (not much of one huh?)

I believe it is mainly used for stupid maps or to have a way to detect maphackers and crashing them.

Though I think it crashes the game to everyone in the end.

uhh... 2.5 DOES have it... it crashes the game because the game is looking for a file that doesn't exist, so it reads all the files, but a few files aren't stable and crash the game...

2.5 Has "Independant Star Port" 2.6 Has Indpendant Command Center and Independant Star Port.

Although i don't know anything about trying to draw all the units thing. I would have to hear that from another source.

The cool thing is, Drakkens map hack, creates a graphic for it, and allows you to see it, without crashing! Thank you Drakken!
