I hope that everyone who reads this thread has played both Diablo and Diablo II, as well as the expansion. If you haven't, you may be a little confused.
In the first game, at the main menu, it talks about the Sin War, and then how the four Lesser Prime Evils threw out the three Greather Prime Evils, Baal, Memphisto, and Diablo. That gives us seven Prime Evils, four lesser, and three greater.
Lesser:
1) Andariel - Dead (Act I)
2) Duriel - Dead (Act II)
3) ???? - Unknown
4) ???? - Unknown
Greater:
1) Diablo - Dead (Act IV)
2) Memphisto - Dead (Act III)
3) Baal - Dead (Act V)
After defeating five of the seven Prime Evils of Hell all by him/her-self, our Hero doesn't have much to prove. The only two Prime Evils left are Lesser ones. And the other two Lesser Evils were Act I & II end bosses, not exactly up to par for a whole new game.
But wait, what if you got to play the OTHER side? Instead of working for the forces of Light and Order, Darkness and Chaos were your allies. You could play a Demon of Hell, or a Mortal corrupted by ancient rituals. Have these as Character Classes:
Vampire - Life Stealing, Undead Raising, they are everything that a Necromancer Strives for.
Pit Fighter - Their hatred of mankind has driven them to the extreems of violence and bloodlust.
Shade - Never seen, they are a rumor, a whisper in the night.
Lich - Sorcerers so powerful they willed themselves past death.
Demon - As the heirchy of Hell crubmles, she looks to gain the upper hand.
That's just my thought. After you beat the game, and resurect the three Prime Evils of Hell, Blizzard can come out with Diablo 4, where you're characters have to help take back a world already ruled by the Powers of Hell.
