It's amazing with how strict Islamic countries can be about their religion, and how offended they can get from depicting Mohammmad, and yet they look at porn all day.

I've done a couple random searches on computers that have been suspected of torrenting on the corporate network, and all I can say is *I'M* impressed at their collection!

Yes. I don't think alcohol is banned in Afghanistan, though - although I'd imagine it's hard to find.

What's the terrain like there?

Everything from tall grass and thick trees, to sand everywhere, and dust storms reducing visibility to 5 meters. Primarily desert with patches of foliage and greenery depending on what direction you travel. Bright and sunny every single day with zero clouds. Most of my time is spent indoors with A/C though, so I'm living a pretty easy life over here.
