I was playing a map called Gat Bound and the map creator used a strange map trick where the zerglings are flashing right below where its name is. Check out the attachment to see what I mean. If you select the zergling and look at the bottom of the screen you'd see it. How did he do it? Is there a special utility that does that sort of thing? Thanks.

Agreed, if you look closely, you can still see a faint picture of the wireframe.

That's strange, but most likely what the two of them said. I like the looks of the map, 3-D and all. Are you any good at bounds?

Depends what you mean by good. Generic bounds are easy to make, but adding originality to them is a challenge (mostly because most bounds are unoriginal to begin with). I made a bound map recently called ChronoBound. Take a look at it if you will.

The map seems to be too big to attach. Here's a link.

Its not, because if you look at the selected zergling, it appears that the units health is 100% ass all of the health bars are full.

It must have been done using Starforge

With a trigger?

I don't know but you can set ther hp to negitive numbers via unit settings. I'll figure out how it is done after my classes are over today.

Well, I figured out the trick. You make the unit's HP 9/3 using StarForge. It works for Zerg units but I'm not sure about Terran and Protoss.

you give the unit 300% health? wouldn't that make it glow or something? the higher the health the brighter the wireframe. so it would have to be a negative, or... you are scrweing with us and used photoshop or something to color wireframe black.

I've seen wireframes go all kinds of weirdo colors: orange, blue, gray, etc. I know you can do it with hex or Starforge, but I forget exactly what it was that does it, though I know it involves HP (was awhile ago and I didn't bother to remember... didn't seem too important to me at the time.)

I think when the HP is above its limit the wireframe borrows a palette from some other place in the memory... or something like that. I'm not so sure, but it could be possible. =/
