Some time last year, I posted something about my Fable not working, when in fact it was the XBOX itself, but now I have another question-

But first let me tell you this. I have Starwars Battlefront2 on Xbox, and I love it, but the thing it, Fable and SW:BF2 doesn't like to work when I turn on my XBOX after not having played it in nearly 20 hours. It will get to a loading screen and I get the dreaded "There is an error with the disc you are using. it may be dirty or damaged", when in fact the game has only left my xbox 4 times since I got it christmas. No scratches. None.

But it seems like if I play a smaller game, like Panzer Dragoon Orta or 007 Agent Under Fire for about 10-20 minutes. I will put BF2 in, and it works fine.

So what i'm asking is- is the XBOX really that much like a computer? Does the XBOX have a small "warm-up" before it can play certain games without fail? Has this happened to anyone else before?

I don't know, but that might be a good thing to think about :-/ My XBOX likes to crash whenever I try to play GTA:SA and I hardly EVER play that game...and I bought it new so it's pretty scratch free.

I can remember that happening to me about 2 or 3 times before. But works fine now, and after just restarting my xbox, maybe taking out the disk and wiping it off it was working fine.

The thing is, the disc is fine, perfect. Maybe a little scratch, but nothing to mess it up.

Maybe I should still try to get a newer XBOX, or maybe I should still do the disc tray that Lee told me to do.
Also, maybe opening it up and cleaning the lens would do it a little good, but i'm asking if all that is really necissary?
