What do you think will become of it? It certainly is going through some difficult times because of the Night Elf fiasco where maps where changed to signifigantly weaken them (I'm sure you had a thread about this). Do you think it will recover? Do you think it was ever strong enough? Will blizzard's next patch rectify this.

I don't, though, just want to discuss that one incident. I just havn't seen the Warcraft PG scene ever really take off. It seems alot of gamers simply got bored with the game, most recently and notably MadFrog. Does progaming have a future for warcraft?

It is true progamers play less and less. SK.Insomnia is still my 'Human god'. But he rarely plays. Other clans just fall apart, like 3wD. The interest has gone, but that is because they started solo much earlier. I no longer see any replays in many of well-known players. It's rare to see a replay of somebody from clan SK. That's it- make way for the new power. Some other good players have already climbed to the top.

Personally, I really hope it becomes very strong. It would help set up the scene for a new game when and if Blizzard decides to release one. If Warcraft's progaming is popular people will think all their RTS's are good for competitive gaming.
