after i install w3 it says that the cd is not in, even though it is
is it the patch problem cuz i have hte lastest patch
and i have a good ass computer

i would offer sagelike advice that instantly solves your problem... but i dont have any :/.
try re-installing/cleaning ur disk, or if ur trying to start from autorun, try going into the programs menu instead. my cd only works if i go into my start menu to start Wc3 TFT. if i use the autorun button, it never works

is your CD scratched? is it in there? Are you using CD image?

Or you have a virus, most namely w32/pate.b or pinfri.

I doubt he has a virus, or his cd drive is messed up, considering it is a good computer. Best bet is to do what pan said, buy the real game you cheap w hore =)

that is priceless. i remember my sc CD looked like i had taken a knife and carved as many scratches as i could. but it still works. I have never had to replace a game yet (except that one time i got robbed and i had to re get the warcraft battle chest)

i had a virus like that but for d2 i was so mad i reboted my comp to get rid of it so try rebotin ur comp

Little scratches wont do much damage. If there was like a scar the size of finger then yes it would.

all the CDs i ever owned all have scratches on them, EXCEPT for TFT. And I dont know why, i havent treated it any better
