Warcraft III In-Game Movies?

Hey all,

I am doing a project for Health and we have to present something that is an "alternative activity" to drugs...and of course, I picked Starcraft/Warcraft.

However, we have to have a presentation, and I was wondering if there is a way to watch the Warcraft III Movies without using Warcraft III (I've heard of a way, but I completely forgot how)...

I think it was as simple as changing the file extension to avi. But, do your project on having unprotected sex, as opposed to drugs.

You can try downloading them off Limewire or a Torrent. Either that, or you will have to learn how to extract MPQs. Also, Starsoft uses Camtasia. That program will record what you do on screen, but the quality of it will be crappy.

One thing you can do is use FRAPS v2.7.3, and end up recording each individualy, then just mixing them together in a video editing program or something. Fraps as opposed to most other ones is used to record not everyhting you see, but everyhting in game within the DirectX application. It provides a good quick compression and nice file sizes.

Yeah, it gets laggy but sometimes it just has to be dealt with.

but for movies i think itll b fine, or u can get it old-school
just video record it while playing from comp!
