W1 or CNC 1st to make RTS?

does any one know which came out 1st Warcraft 1 or Comand and Conquer?
Sometold me Westwood made the 1st RTS but i thought blizz did....

WC came out before C&C, but wasn't the first RTS game ever. It was the first to introduce Online play in RTS's, though.
