Vista is known for a great fake system. While other Operative system like Linux and or MAC-OS are slowly but gradually taking over the market, Microsoft still has the luxury of creating such an unviable system.
There is no doubt that Linux, per example, is better the Windows , and this last version only re forces the fact that Microsoft is a great company because most people are ignorants about computers, and therefore they use Microsoft - a system designed to them.
This doesn't mean that all those who use Microsoft are ignorants, but it is a fact that most people that have high knowledge about Operating System and informatics in general reject Windos as well as its clones.

Windows : easy to learn, easy to work, full support, low security
Linux: hard to learn, easy to work, full liberty, high security
